Holidays in Spain

The Spanish coast and its lively seaside resorts

Everybody knows the names of the Spanish seaside resorts Salou, Lloret de Mar, Blanes, Torremolinos and Benidorm to name just a few. These places are known for their mass tourism which can be great fun for some people but a nightmare for others! However mixed opinions, these resorts are fully booked every year in summer. When on a motoring holiday you can pay a visit to these places and drive out again at your own leisure, so not to miss out on the experience. But the Costa has so many hidden gems to offer like small fishing villages, which makes Spain an ideal holiday destination for everybody’s taste.

Touring the Spanish cities

The two largest cities in Spain are of course Madrid and Barcelona. Both are capitals. Madrid is the capital of Spain and Barcelona the capital of Catalonia which is autonomous to Spain. Both cities offer so much culture and beautiful buildings. Barcelona and the stunning cathedral la Sagrada Familia or in Madrid the Royal Palace are buildings well worth a visit. These cities also offer many museums which are interesting for the whole family. While on a motoring holiday in Spain, towns like Valencia or Sevilla are also definitely worth a visit!
