Holiday in Germany

A lot of people choose Germany as their motoring holiday destination. The country is so vast that is has got so much variety to offer which makes it hugely popular. In Germany there is plenty to do or different areas and places to visit for the whole family.

The advantages of a big country

If you would like to see the whole of Germany while on a motoring holiday then be prepared that it will take a long holiday for that. The country is 357.000 km2. It’s no surprise that such a big country has produced so many famous brands of car. While on a motoring holiday, and touring the whole of Germany, you will experience the differences in climate from North to South, or East to West. The climate in the West is a moderate climate similar to that of South England (maybe slightly warmer) and the South can reach very high temperatures. The East of Germany has more of a continental climate. However if you drive into the German Alps then the higher you get, the colder it gets.

For the people who love culture then Germany is a great place to visit by car. There are so many beautiful cities to visit like Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg or Düsseldorf. All these places offer culture and beautiful architecture which give out a feeling of grandeur.
