Strasbourg, world city of the Vosges/ Lorraine/ Alsace
You might know Strasbourg as the Chair of European Parliament, the European Court of Human Rights. But the historical city-centre Grande Ile or the Roman/Gothic ‘Our lady of Strasbourg’ Cathedral which was built between 1176 and 1439 AD is also worth visiting. In this Cathedral, astronomical clockwork ‘the Strasbourg clock’ was placed in 1547 AD which is now a famous attraction in Strasbourg. If you haven’t seen these places of interest already, amongst many other beautiful buildings, then Strasbourg is definitely a city worth visiting. The Pont Couverts (covered bridges) which were goes back till the 12th century is also worth seeing.
